The effusive-explosive eruption of the volcano continues.
The lava flow on the SE flank remains active, and slowly advance nearly to the base of the edifice at about 2000 m distance from the summit.
Near-frequent vulcanian eruptions continue to generate ash columns releasing pyroclastic material to approx. 6,1 km (20,000 ft) elevation in the western-northwestern direction over the past week. Most of the ejected hot, juvenile and glowing material slid down along the southeastern flank in the form of incandescent avalanches.
