Based on the latest field research of the volcano by the PVMBG volcano observatory, the alert level was downgraded to Level II.
The lava flow on the north-northeast flank seems to have stopped or at least significantly decreased its advance.
People are advised to avoid an area of about 4 km from the main crater and 5 km in the north-northwest direction, respectively.
