The low-level effusive eruption at the volcano continues.

The lava flow gradually continues to slow down its advance over the past few days.

According to the MIROVA Detection System, a high thermal anomaly (619 MW) was detected in satellite images yesterday.

Sulfur dioxide (SO2) emissions reached to a 576 tonnes measured on 13 March. Gas and steam emissions have extended west-southwest of the volcano. No ash emissions have been recorded over the past 24 hours.

As the volcano is uninhabited, there is no threat to the population.
