The explosive eruption at the volcano continues.

Grey-to-black ash emissions continue to be generated by mild-to-strong vulcanian-type eruptions. According to the Volcanic Ash Advisory Center Darwin (VAAC), ash plumes reached 16,000 ft and 17,000 ft (4,900 m and 5,200 m) altitude over the past few days extending southwest.

The warning bulletin states that ballistic impacts of volcanic bombs and pyroclastic flows could affect an area of about 3 km distance from the main crater.
