Stromboli (Eolian Islands, Italy): The intense activity at the volcano persists.
From the available live webcam stream, the near-constant bursting lava spattering from the North crater area vents has been erupting and feeding the lava flow that emerged on the upper part of the Sciara del Fuoco today.
Weak-to-moderate strombolian-type explosions have been ongoing at roughly regular intervals of every 3-to-5 minutes or so, mostly occurring from the North crater vents, occasionally from the Central-South area. Glowing lava fragments like basaltic lapilli and bombs have showered the northern flank, resulting in small incandescent avalanches rolling over Sciara del Fuoco.
…6 Oct:
The National Institute of Geophysics and Volcanology (INGV) reported that a strong-intensity explosion appeared at the volcano tonight.
At 01:00 UTC today, the above-average eruption took place from the North crater area, triggering a small lava overflow onto the outer upper slope of Sciara del Fuoco and showering the vent with glowing lava bombs.

Nishino-shima (Volcano Islands, Japan): (6 Oct) The Japan Coast Guard (JCG) published a new series of aerial images of the volcano a couple of days ago.
An explosive eruption occurred from the volcano during an aerial survey on 4 October associated with ongoing abundant gas-steam-laden plumes (degassing). The ash plume rose to above 1,500 meters above the crater. This could mean a likelihood of either a new batch of magma or non-juvenile fragments of solid lava within the conduit.

Ruby (United States, Mariana Islands): (6 Oct) The Northern Mariana Islands Volcano Observatory reported that no sign of volcanic activity has been monitored at the submarine volcano since 14/15 September.
Thus, the volcano observatory lowered the Aviation Color Code and Volcano Alert Level back to Unassigned, suggesting the possibility of the lack of nearby monitoring instruments that could detect lower-level events.
