Lewotolo (Lesser Sunda Islands): The effusive-explosive eruption at the volcano continues.
Strombolian and occasional larger vulcanian-type explosions continue to take place from the cinder cone within the main caldera. The PVMBG surveillance cameras observed three eruptions over the past two days. Grey and grey-to-black ash plumes rose approx. 500-700 meters above the summit and drifted towards the west and northwest of the volcano.
