The intense strombolian activity from the volcano’s summit vent is ongoing.
It has continued throughout the last night by ejecting hot, juvenile and plastic lava clots landing onto the upper western flank accompanied by steam emissions. Some lava jets surpassed 60 meters height.
The Volcanic Alert Level remains at Yellow with 500-meters exclusion zone around the main crater in place.
