Strombolian activity continues from the summit crater.
Glowing scoria bombs and lapilli are being ejected to several dozens of meters above the vent, as visible in the attached image.
The ongoing bright thermal anomaly was detected in the latest satellite image from the ESA’s Sentinel-2 satellite on 23 June. A visible glow may suggest a rise of fresh magma inside the volcano’s conduits.
