The explosive activity at the volcano continues at moderate levels.
Minor short-lived eruptions and near-frequent gas and water vapor emissions continue to take place from the main crater, rising to estimated 6,7 km height.
According to the MOUNTS system, sulfur dioxide (SO2) emissions reached to a 811 tonnes on 7 January.
