Weak strombolian activity at the volcano continues.
Visible glow and near-constant emissions of gas, steam and small amounts of ash may suggest rise of fresh, juvenile magma towards the surface.
Therefore, the KVERT local observatory increased the Volcanic Alert Level to „Yellow“.
