Stromboli (Eolian Islands, Italy): The activity at the volcano continues at high levels over the past 24 hours.
Intense strombolian-type eruptions have been occurring from both North and Central-South craters, triggering a new lava overflow at 09:07 UTC onto the Sciara del Fuoco. The lava spill out has overlapped the previous one from yesterday.

The National Institute of Geophysics and Volcanology (INGV) reported that a new lava effusion at the volcano began at 11:15 local time yesterday.
The lava overflowed the North crater and slowly descended on the Sciara del Fuoco. Most of the poorly fed lava was keeping in the crater area. At about 12:30 local time, the effusive eruption increased to make emissions of fluid lava and ash reached the sea.
