Alaid volcano (Atlasov Island, Northern Kuriles): near-constant ash emissions continue

Strombolian activity continues, at least it seems to appear from available sources, either satellite images or images from local observers.
Ongoing ash emissions dominated the volcano for now, the Volcanic Ash Advisory Center (VAAC) Tokyo reported an ash plume rising to estimated 10,000 ft (3,000 m) height and dispersing towards the NE direction.

Elevated surface temperatures in the summit vent continue.
