Cerro Hudson volcano (Southern Chile and Argentina): hybrid earthquake

The Servicio Nacional de Geología y Minería de Chile’s (SERNAGEOMIN) seismic network detected an earthquake on 14 August at 04:31 local time.
The quake was hybrid in origin, meaning that was associated with rock fracturing and fluid movements within the volcanic system.
The alert level remains at Green.
