Chikurachki (Paramushir Island): The explosive activity at the volcano has been renewed again after exactly one week as the recent eruptive period stopped.
Three eruptions occurred from the volcano over the past two days (on 30 June and today on the 1st of July) to produce ash columns up to 3 km and 4,6 km altitude extending about 300 and 50 km to the west and south-southeast of the volcano.
A thermal anomaly has been detected yesterday.
