Bardarbunga volcano (Iceland): M 4.9 quake, continuous inflation since 2015

Kristín Jónsdóttir from the Icelandic Met Office reported on her Twitter account that a volcano-tectonic earthquake with magnitude M 4.9 occurred beneath the caldera.
„The event shows the same MT-solution as previous post-eruption quakes“, says.
GPS, tiltmeter and all seismic data confirm that the volcano continues to inflate since 2015. Such ground deformation episodes are nothing unusual and can vary for decades without eruption.
