The explosive eruption of the volcano continues at elevated levels.
The volcano produced strong explosions this week sending 1 km high dense ash plumes above the crater accompanied by typical strong volcanic tremor.
Explosions generated pyroclastic material such as ash, lapilli, bombs and blocks. Blocks were ejected 600 meters distance from the crater.

Eruption sounds were heard in Toshima village 4 km away.

The warning bulletin states that ballistic impacts of volcanic bombs could affect an area of about 2 km distance from the main crater.
