The explosive eruption of the volcano continues and remains essentially unchanged over the last few months.
Moderate-to-strong explosions continue to erupt at regular intervals of 10 to 15 per hour.

Near-frequent ash emissions reached up to approximately 14,700 ft-15,400 ft (4,500 m-4,700 m) altitude and extended about 20 km to the S-SE of the volcano.

Incandescent material is ejected to a height of 100 to 300 meters above the volcanic edifice and caused moderate to strong avalanches of material.
A satellite image from 18 June confirms elevated surface temperatures in the summit crater that suggests a flux of magma within the edifice.
