Reventador volcano (Ecuador): pyroclastic flows

IGEPN recorded continuous explosive activity from the active crater with near-constant ash emissions that reached 15,000 ft (4,600 m) altitude and drifted W. It also produced small pyroclastic flows that traveled over the upper slopes, as can be seen in the webcam screenshot. Pyroclastic flows couldn’t affect an area of Interandine valley.
