Sakurajima volcano (Kyushu, Japan): glowing lava bombs thrown from crater

The Japan Meteorological Agency (JMA) reported that explosive activity continues from the active crater with near-constant ash emissions that reached approx. 11,000 ft (3,400 m) altitude.
