Piton de la Fournaise volcano (La Réunion, France): elevated activity continues
The seismic activity of the volcano continues at elevated levels. OVPF recorded 2300 volcano-tectonic earthquakes since 28 September. Earthquakes were located mainly beneath the summit area and the eastern flank at depths between 1.6 and 5.2 km.
