PVMBG reported that the activity of the volcano continues at seismic elevated levels over the past month. The seismic instruments detected approx. 490 volcano-tectonic earthquakes.

On 22 November at 06:50 local time a surveillance cameras observed a significant rockfall from the inner north crater, as can be seen in the video recorded.
Near-constant gas and steam plumes rose 656 ft-1,148 ft (200 m-350 m) above the summit crater.
The Alert Level remained at 3.

The effusive-explosive eruption of the volcano continues characterized by flank-to-lateral eruption.
The lava flow on the southwestern eruptive fissure remains active, currently about 325 m long.

Strombolian-type explosions are recorded with scoria thrown at an approximate height of 100 meters above the Mackenney summit crater.

The seismic instruments recorded internal tremor associated with explosions and lava flow and magma rising within the volcano edifice.
